What to Expect from Piano Lessons?
Piano Club
Monthly “Club” where students share what they’re learning, play music theory and rhythm games, and develop new friendships with fellow music lovers. Join one of the sweetest communities in Pensacola!
Weekly Lessons
Weekly lessons are 45 minutes long. Choose from private or partner lessons. Each session is tailored to the unique needs of your child. We keep lessons positive, engaging and fun. We help every child find their unique gifts and abilities.
Performance Opportunities
Your child will have the opportunity to share their pieces with the world. We love to perform for nursing homes, smaller venues as well as family and friends.
Meet Your Teacher, Ms. Austin
Fun fact: Ms. Austin is homeschooling her daughter AND teaching her piano.
I bring more than 20 years of experience in the public school classroom, where I've helped thousands of children discover their musical voices. I hold a Master of Arts in Music Education and have taught piano privately since 2010. Throughout my career, I've worked with students in many different musical settings—as an elementary music teacher, choral director, ukulele teacher, and piano teacher.
Today, I offer private and partner (buddy) piano lessons for children in Pensacola.
I want children to leave my studio knowing how to make music—and knowing that music belongs to them.

Why take piano lessons?

Ms. Austin’s Story…
Piano has been a lifelong source of creativity, confidence, beauty, and joy.
I began piano lessons when I was six years old. More than 40 years later, I still remember the teacher who welcomed me into the world of music. We're still in touch today.
When I visited her in Michigan recently, she made me banana bread. She's 88 now, and our relationship is still a meaningful part of my life. That's the kind of relationship I hope to build with my own students.
The goal isn't perfection or professional concert pianists...it's a lifelong relationship with music.
I help children develop strong musical foundations while growing in confidence, creativity, and joy. Because the best thing we can give a child isn't simply the ability to play the piano.
It's the knowledge that they can create something beautiful.
